Lift up your eyes and see – Part 2

liftupyoureyesLets start off with a question, what do you see when you lift up your eyes? Do you see despair or hope? Do you see lack or Gods provision? Do you see sickness or divine health? Do you see sadness or joy? Do you see darkness or light? Beloved, what do you see in your circumstance? I am sure there are many more items you might want to add to the list. The reason for asking these questions is to get us to pause for a minute and really consider what exactly we are seeing. See what the Bible says, “So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” Read 2 Corinthians 4:18 (AMP). We live in a society which says, seeing is believing; and to an extent, they are partly right, but for you and I who are believers in Christ Jesus, we look not with our natural eyes, because if we do, then without any doubt, we would see what ordinary men see. But you and I are not ordinary. The Bible says, “You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You…” What are you focusing on? God’s peace is established when we look into the perfect law of liberty – His word.
