God, You are all that I see – Part 1

fullsizeoutput_17It can be a daunting prospect to see God in everything, but the Bible says, “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT). When you see God in the midst of circumstances, an appreciation for God becomes inevitable.

As long as you and I are on this earth, challenges are inevitable, but most importantly how we handle these challenges in some way depend on how we see God. I believe sight helps shape our perspective, and quite frankly, perspectives are a very powerful thing depending on which side you are coming from. However, the Bible does say, your perspective ought to be from Christ. Watch this, perspectives are the prism through which we view life, and I believe it is important for us to heed the counsel of God to have His perspective. Why you might ask? Because He is always right, and His intention for you is to “prosper you and for you to be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”

Jesus said, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Read John 16:33 (NIV). An interesting word to note, BUT is of vital importance because Jesus said: “…TAKE HEART, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” Watch this, you are an overcomer in Christ Jesus, and you should see yourself in the light of what God did on the cross of Calvary. Jesus is pretty much saying, “Your victory has already been secured.” Therefore, see yourself victorious in all and any circumstance. Hallelujah.

With this level of comprehension, we should always see through the eyes of the Word of God, through the eyes of faith in God. Now the question is, how do we deal with and what should our posture be like in times of trials and tribulations? Do you see God and His hand or do you see something else? Jeremiah was asked this question, “What do you see.”? And I believe the same question is being asked of us today, [inseret your name] what do you see?

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for opening my eyes to see through the eyes of faith and the eyes of Your Word. I trust You and I look to You as the author and finisher of faith. You are my rock and my salvation, and I have no need to fear anything. You are my shield and protector.

Look out for the next posts where we would be talking about types of sight and the implications of seeing God in all things.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.

  1. Thank you, PR for this timely reminder. I totally agree that it is important we see God, especially in the times that we are in where there are so many things to see.

Thank you again, and I pray Gods favor and blessings upon you and your endeavors in the Name of Jesus

    Blessings
