God, You are all that I see – Part 2

Seeing-God-Worship-Series-957x350According to the Greek dictionary, seeing meansTo become acquainted with by experience.” It also means to see with the mind, to perceive, know absolutely. From the definition – to see with the mind, it is clear that sight is not referring to the use of your natural eyes, hence I would say, to see is by revelation knowledge of who God is.

Think with me for a moment, if you believe God loves you; then no matter the situation, you will see God in your midst. Seeing by revelation takes you out of the realm of humanistic reasoning, and places right in the centre of God’s realm, where you see through the eyes of your heart. Beloved, God does not want you to be blind, hence the scripture says, “…But blessed [spiritually aware, and favored by God] are your eyes because they see.” Read Matthew 13:16 (AMP). Can you see this? This is clearly showing you, God has created you with the innate ability to see with your heart so that you can be spiritually aware. This is awesome folks.

Seeing through the eyes of the Word will bypass natural sight, Selah. And seeing God requires you walking in the peace of God. Recall the Bible saying, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Read John 14:27 (NIV). Watch this, when you engage your spiritual eyes, peace I believe becomes inevitable, and ultimately creates an opportunity for praise, worship and thanksgiving.

Seeing God through the eyes of the spirit gives you a helicopter and complete view, such that you are able to navigate properly, whilst seeing through the natural eyes gives you a myopic view, which is at best limiting and inconsistent with God’s perspective as it changes from time to time based on the prevailing condition.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for opening my eyes to see. Your Word declares Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw.” Read 2 Kings 6:17 (AMP).

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
