Growing up and like in most homes, one would tend to adopt and embrace the religion thrust upon them. In other words, the choice of faith would have been set without being given an option. But now you are an adult, your own person and probably have a family; now you are faced with a choice to make. How will and what determines the choice of faith or movement you embrace?
Think with me for a moment, when you meet someone either for the first time or over an extended period of time, the one thing you would be looking out for in this person is their character and nature which to a large extent will define who they are.
Watch this, if you are going to commit your entire life to something, a deity, faith or religion or to a movement, then CHARACTER and NATURE matters to a great extent. Consequently, I have chosen to explore the CHARACTER and NATURE of the one I profess my faith to. Check out a couple of text that will support why I believe FAITHFULNESS is critical.
“Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands [securely].” Read Psalm 119:90 (AMP).
“God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him, you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Read 1 Corinthians 1:9 (AMP).
“For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in faithfulness.” Read Psalm 33:4 (AMP).
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfil it?…” Read Numbers 23:19 (AMP).
GOD’s FAITHFULNESS is a defining basis for my belief. So what is a defining basis for your belief? This is a rhetorical question, I really want you to be able to answer this question.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Absolutely brilliant. Praise the Lord for He is Faithful…
