Be a warrior: not a worrier! – Part 4

44c2e4a9f241803cf8094e49d2506180A soldier on duty doesn’t get caught up in making deals at the marketplace. He concentrates on carrying out orders.” Read 2 Timothy 2:4 (MSG). In other words, discipline is a necessity. A warrior in the Kingdom of God does not go “awol.” It is not a tag we want to be associated with. Whenever the alarm bell sounds, we have to be ready to engage and combat the enemy through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Recall the Bible says, then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Command the people of Israel to start moving.” Read Exodus 14:15 (ICB). Listen to this quote “The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.” G. K. Chesterton. The warrior charges forward because “God is with him.” Watch this, retreating is and should never be an option.

Think with me for a moment, what imminent danger or challenge are you faced with? Are you ready and willing to stand, no matter what it takes? Watch this, “This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us.” Read 1 John 5:14 (AMP). Therefore, charge forward and take what belongs to you.

My Father in Heaven, “How great thou art.” Awesome and mighty is Your name. “Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.” “The Lord is His Name.” We serve a God who has never lost a battle, and “As He is, so are we in this life.” Therefore, we win all the time. Hallelujah.

Beloved, this is a spiritual battle. I am an “overcomer by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony.” What is that testimony? I am victorious in Christ Jesus. I am more than a conqueror…” I am the “righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.” “I am seated together with Christ…”

Therefore, I encourage and urge you to stand; you are not standing alone. The Word of God is that solid foundation.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
