We can’t take a break from preaching the gospel of Christ. The life of a believer in Christ is always one of Jubilee. The reason the world all over celebrate Christmas is that an important and life-changing event occurred – the birth of Christ. There are those who do not know why they celebrate Christmas, nonetheless celebrate the birth of the Son of God, and designate the 25th of December in their calendars as Christmas.
The Bible says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name is called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.” Read Isaiah 9:6 (Darby).
This Christmas, I want to personally encourage you to rejoice for the Lord your God is with you. The Son of God is your counsellor, mighty God, Father and Prince of Peace.
