Hannah’s story is a fascinating read, from the perspective of embracing and being practical where God’s Word is concerned. After Eli encouraged Hannah, her response was equally encouraging; see what she said, “Oh, thank you, sir! she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.” Read 1 Samuel 1:18 (NIV). This is so awesome, Hannah was not only receptive, she was equally demonstrative in her faith.
