Habakkuk’s statement reads thus, “I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says, and how He will answer my complaint.” Read Habakkuk 2:1 (NIV). A couple of points I want to highlight here – [1] Habakkuk raised his complaints to God, and not to any man. [2] Habakkuk waited with an expectation to hear how the Lord will answer him. [3] Habakkuk had to endure and persevere for an answer.
