As I alluded to in my previous post, we are not able to speak about the Holiness of God without understanding the Names of God. To recap, according to Webster’s Dictionary, a name “Constitutes the distinctive designation of a person or thing.”
Watch this the term Almighty means “Absolute power over all.” Beloved, I do not know anyone who can be ascribed to this name other than “Our Father in Heaven.” Beloved, God has the capacity and ability to meet every spiritual and physical need! Listen to this, “Seeing that His divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that called us by His own glory and virtue.” Read 2 Peter 1:3 (ASV).
Our Father in Heaven is known as
El Shaddai – “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before Me, and be blameless.” Watch this, the message God gave to Abram, is also applicable to you and me in this 21st Century. One commentator writes, there should be a clear distinction between the works of righteousness and the works of darkness. Therefore, we must “Labour to enter into His rest.” How? By doing this, “Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before. I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, this also shall God reveal unto you: only, whereunto we have attained, by that same rule let us walk.” Read Philippians 3:13-14 (ASV).
“Thine, O Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and thou art exalted as head above all.” Read 1 Chronicles 29:11 (ASV).

Comme je l’ai mentionné dans mes articles précédents, nous ne sommes pas capables de parler de la Sainteté de Dieu sans comprendre les Noms de Dieu. Pour récapituler, selon le dictionnaire Webster, un nom “constitue la désignation distinctive d’une personne ou d’une chose.”
