Isaiah 6:1-3 (ESV)
God is comprehensively Holy. Hence, He is infinitely unchangeable, and the Bible says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yea and forever.” God’s nature is consistent with His name [Pause and calmly think]! Watch this, God’s unchangeable holiness requires a thorough understanding of His nature and character. The next name we will look at is:
Yahweh Jireh: What does this mean, and what was the origin of the word. To give some context, God tested Abraham, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” Fast forward to verse 9, “When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12 He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14So Abraham called the name of that place, “The Lord will provide”; as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” Read Genesis 22:1-2; 9-14 (ESV).
There is always a reward for demonstrating total loyalty to God. Hence, “By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies, 18 and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because you have obeyed my voice.” Read Genesis 22:16-18 (ESV).
I wonder how many Christians today can confidently say God is their provider. Let me help by reminding you what the Bible says, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11 (ESV). Beloved, when you pray, Matthew 6:11, what you are inadvertently saying is God is the one who sustains and provides for you through whatever means He has chosen. For example through the works of your hands etc. Listen to this, “Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.” Read 2 Corinthians 3:5 (ESV). Can you see this? It is not within us to sustain ourselves. The Bible says, “For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” Read Philippians 2:13 (ESV).
God’s provision is all encapsulating as thus, “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence.” Read 2 Peter 1-3 (ESV).

Dieu est complètement saint. Par conséquent, Il est infiniment immuable, et la Bible dit: “Jésus-Christ est le même hier et aujourd’hui, oui et pour toujours.” La nature de Dieu est cohérente avec Son nom [Arrêtez-vous et réfléchissez calmement]! Regardez ceci, la sainteté immuable de Dieu exige une compréhension approfondie de Sa nature et de Son caractère. Le prochain nom que nous examinerons est:

Il y a toujours une récompense pour avoir fait preuve d’une loyauté totale envers Dieu. C’est pourquoi j’ai juré par moi-même, déclare le Seigneur, parce que vous avez fait cela et que vous n’avez pas retenu votre fils, votre fils unique, Je vous bénirai sûrement, et je multiplierai sûrement votre progéniture comme les étoiles du ciel et comme le sable qui est au bord de la mer. Et ta progéniture possédera la porte de ses ennemis, et dans ta progéniture toutes les nations de la terre seront bénies parce que tu as obéi à ma voix. Lisez Genèse 22:16-18 (ESV).
Je me demande combien de chrétiens aujourd’hui peuvent dire avec confiance que Dieu est leur pourvoyeur. Permettez-moi de vous aider en vous rappelant ce que dit la Bible: “Donne-nous aujourd’hui notre pain quotidien.” Matthieu 6:11 (ESV). Bien-aimé, quand vous priez, Matthieu 6:11, ce que vous dites par inadvertance, c’est que Dieu est celui qui vous soutient et pourvoit à vos besoins par tous les moyens qu’Il a choisis. Par exemple, par le travail de vos mains, etc. Écoutez ceci: “Non pas que nous soyons suffisants en nous-mêmes pour prétendre que quoi que ce soit vient de nous, mais notre suffisance vient de Dieu.” Lisez 2 Corinthiens 3:5 (ESV). Voyez-vous cela? Ce n’est pas en nous de subvenir à nos besoins. La Bible dit: “Car c’est Dieu qui œuvre en vous, à la fois pour vouloir et pour travailler pour Son bon plaisir.” Lisez Philippiens 2:13 (ESV).
La provision de Dieu résume ainsi: “Sa puissance divine nous a accordé tout ce qui se rapporte à la vie et à la piété, par la connaissance de Celui qui nous a appelés à Sa propre gloire et à Son excellence.” Lisez 2 Pierre 1-3 (ESV).
