In our world today, we are being pummelled from every side with all manner of alternative information. Let us take for example, the Bible is under attack more than ever before. The sole aim of this attack is to chop at the bits and foundation of our faith. We see the downward spiral of Romans 1 play out before our eyes. In some instances, you might have come across situations and circumstances that simply defy explanation. But, thus saith the Lord, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.”
Christ warns when He says, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Read John 16:33 (KJV). In other words, as believers, we should expect to be hated and persecuted for our testimony about Christ. The Bible says, “If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” Read John 15:18 (KJV).
The Bible says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Read Hebrews 13:8 (KJV). He never changes, and He is a covenant keeping God. The Bible says, in the book of Numbers 23:19 (KJV) “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” Therefore, when Christ says, “Let not your heart be troubled,” it is the absolute truth, and nothing but the truth!

Our Father in Heaven, how grateful we are for Your truth. We are comforted daily, to know that You always keep Your Word, and that Your love is from everlasting to everlasting. For this Father, we are eternally grateful.

Dans notre monde d’aujourd’hui, nous sommes bombardés de toutes parts par toutes sortes d’informations alternatives. Prenons par exemple que la Bible est plus que jamais attaquée. Le seul but de cette attaque est de couper les morceaux et les fondements de notre foi. Nous voyons la spirale descendante de Romains 1 se dérouler sous nos yeux. Dans certains cas, vous avez peut-être rencontré des situations et des circonstances qui défient tout simplement l’explication. Mais, ainsi dit le Seigneur: “Que votre cœur ne se trouble pas, vous croyez en Dieu, croyez aussi en moi.”
Le Christ met en garde lorsqu’il dit: “Vous aurez des tribulations dans le monde, mais prenez courage; J’ai vaincu le monde.” Lisez Jean 16:33 (LSG). En d’autres termes, en tant que croyants, nous devrions nous attendre à être haïs et persécutés pour notre témoignage sur Christ. La Bible dit: “Si le monde vous hait, vous savez qu’il m’a haï avant de vous haïr.” Lisez Jean 15:18 (LSG).
La Bible dit: “Jésus-Christ est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement.” Lisez Hébreux 13:8 (LSG). Il ne change jamais, et Il est un Dieu qui garde l’alliance. La Bible dit, dans le livre des Nombres 23:19 (LSG): “Dieu n’est pas un homme pour mentir; ni le fils de l’homme, pour qu’il se repente: a-t-il dit, et ne le fera-t-il pas? ou a-t-il parlé, et ne le rendra-t-il pas bon? Par conséquent, quand le Christ dit: “Que ton cœur ne se trouble pas,” c’est la vérité absolue, et rien que la vérité!

Notre Père céleste, comme nous sommes reconnaissants de Ta vérité. Nous sommes réconfortés chaque jour de savoir que Tu gardes toujours Ta Parole et que Ton amour est d’éternité en éternité. Pour ce Père, nous sommes éternellement reconnaissants.
