The Greek word for Church is Ekklésia – “The universal (total) body of believers whom God calls out from the world and into His eternal kingdom.” Therefore, we can safely say that the Church is not the building, but a called-out people, the body of Christ. Watch this, the letter to the seven Churches is a reflection of God’s letter to you and me. It is also interesting to note the significance of Ephesus, the capital of Asia Minor, a sea trade and influential city in the Eastern part the Roman Empire.
