Thankfulness is a covenant attitude, and why do I say this? Being thankful or grateful is not dependent on situations or circumstances, quite the opposite, it depends on one’s understanding of God’s love for them. The Scripture helps you and me understand that it is God’s will for us to be thankful. Well, listen to this, “In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP). Can you see this beloved? People generally struggle to find God’s will for their lives; look no further, His will for you is to be THANKFUL!

Before you go out into the world, wash your face in the clear crystal of praise. Bury each yesterday in the fine linen and spices of thankfulness.
