Like many parents across the globe whose children have gone astray, you might feel like a failure, negligent or inadequate for whatever reason; but, let me encourage you with this Biblical text, “For I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.” Read 2 Timothy 1:12b (NASB). Beloved, rather than stressing and worrying or having sleepless night about how one’s child will turn out, “Turn him or her over to the LORD.” Remember, “He holds their lives in His hands.” Watch this, God loves your children more than you do and He is well equipped to bring them back in line. Listen to this, “It is a fearful (formidable and terrible) thing to incur the divine penalties and be cast into the hands of the living God!” Read Hebrews 10:31 (AMPC). This should instill fear / reverence into any human being!
