An excerpt from a prayer meeting. Myself and a couple of brothers in the faith host intercessory prayer meetings every Friday of the week from 20:00hrs to 20:30hrs, and I sensed strongly that I needed to share this particular prayer session notes because of the times that we live in where young people are most vulnerable to all kinds of false teachings and doctrines. Listen to this, “For I have chosen [know] him, so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.” Read Genesis 18:19 (NASB). This same instruction applies not only to Abraham but also to you and me; we have been commanded to “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Read Proverbs 22:6 (NASB).
