As we begin our new study on the Book of Jonah, it is interesting to note, “God is a God of mercy and grace.” No one is beyond redemption or salvation, for the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” Read John 3:16 (NIV). God always gives people the opportunity to repent [turn around], and once they do and acknowledge their error, then, “He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse from all unrighteousness.” Watch this, everyone on the face of this earth is a candidate for God’s favour, even the worst of sinners.
