Psalm 119:106 (ASV)
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the term absolutes draw the following expressions, faultless, flawless, unblemished, irreproachable, unmitigated, and pure. Watch this, God’s word is His absolutes. Hence, we see from biblical research; every word of God is fulfilled. Listen to this, “God is not man, one given to lies, and not a son of man changing His mind. Does He speak and not do what He says? Does He promise and not come through?” Read Numbers 23:19 (MSG). Therefore, “As for God, His way is blameless. The word of the Lord is tested [it is perfect, it is faultless]; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.” Read Psalm 18:30 (AMP).
Understanding the absolutes of God will require you and me to first know about His character. Listen to this, the Word of God is consistent with His character! Listen to this, “For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will because it pleased Him and was His kind intent.” Read Ephesians 1:5 (AMPC). Watch this, “But what the LORD has planned will stand forever. His thoughts never change.” Psalm 33:11 (CEV).
Beloved, everything God does is certain, fixed, definite, unchangeable and absolute. Therefore, He says, “For I am the Lord, I do not change, but remain faithful to My covenant with you.” Read Malachi 3:6 (AMP). Listen here beloved, “Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).” Read Hebrews 13:8 (AMP). Beloved, this is the certainty of God. Look at this, “Jesus said to him, “I am the only way to God, and the real Truth and the real Life.” Read John 14:6 (AMP). Beloved, the word of the Lord stands forever, “Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable]. Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands [securely]. They continue this day according to Your ordinances, for all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants.” Read Psalm 119:89 (AMP).
Beloved, the doctrines of God’s character must first be understood before we can fully embrace His absolutes. Watch this, will you take the words of someone whom you do not know? Possibly not, and if you do, it would be with skepticism. God is steadfast, “For all the promises of God find their Yes in Him. That is why it is through Him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” Read 2 Corinthians 1:20 (ESV). This ought to give us great hope as followers of Christ because He is a faithful God and is in control of all things.
