Keeping up with the word is more than a hashtag, slogan or a saying. I believe it goes deeper and has much to do with connectedness with God and with one another. Let me help us recall what the Bible says about connectedness, “It takes a grinding wheel to sharpen a blade, and so one person sharpens the character of another.” Read Proverbs 27:17 (TPT). Watch this, you and I are not independent of one another; quite frankly we are inter-dependent. We need each other… and you are as important to me as I am to you. We are the Body of Christ in the earth, and for us to effectively communicate our faith and trust in God, then can I suggest to you that “the spirit of unity” must permeate our hearts and minds.
