Benefits of patiently waiting: Mount up with wings as eagles – Part 4

Isaiah 40-31 Those Who Trust In The Lord Will Soar On Eagles Wings aquaA person of patience will act in wisdom in most instances; because he or she would have had time to weigh all the facts before making a move or deciding on what to do. Look at this Greek proverb which says, “One minute of patience, ten years of peace.” So anyone with an inclination for calculations can do the maths. Patiently waiting is the breeding ground for revelation and insight, why? When you are in a place of quiet, you can easily tune into the frequency of the Holy Spirit to be able to receive from Him that which He is trying to communicate to you.

I would like to say this, waiting is a critical aspect of our walk with the Lord.We can’t negotiate it away, neither can we circumvent the process of waiting. So you might as well accept it as being part of life, and calm down. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Read Isaiah 40:31 (KJV).

Benefits of Patiently waiting include

  • Mount up with wings as eagles
    • Mount means to lift yourself above the plain, it also means to arise. Recall the Bible says, “Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come” Read Isaiah 60:1 (AMP). Wings enable lift and flight. Do you want a lift in life or in your circumstance, then wait patiently for the Lord, and arise into newness of life. Lift gives you a perspective which you would not have been able to see on the lower level. The Bible says, “Come up here.” In other words, be elevated into the higher life of God. Now what is the higher life? The higher life of God is faith, hope and love in the Holy Ghost, Hallelujah. The eagle is known as the “king of the skies.” Research tells me the eagle is constantly resident in the skies from where they patiently wait, observing their prey before striking. And I believe the Lord wants you and I to constantly and be perpetually propelled by His word to higher heights in Him.

Therefore, it is my prayer and desire for you, the Holy Spirit will help you soar and propel you into God’s divine plan purpose and pursuits in the Name of Jesus, Amen. The Bible says, “Where men say there is a casting down, we say, there is a lifting up.” Be ye lifted up into your place of insight and comprehension in the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
