“Christ in you the hope of glory.” Read Colossians 1:27 (NIV). Acknowledging and embracing this invaluable truth is a way we stay nourished. Do you know what this means? Recall the scripture says, “But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin].” Read 1 Corinthians 1:30 (AMP).
From the text above, we can deduce wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption are products of a nourished life. And I am sure you will agree these are qualities we all need to succeed in this life and become all that God has ordained us to be. These qualities or character traits are our compasses for life especially in the age where society or the discussion has become “Is the Bible enough or do we need something else?” Well let me be absolutely clear, the Word of God is more than enough for a world darkened by its compromise and the forces of hell will not prevail against us in Jesus Name.
Listen to this, we have the awesome power of our Lord and Saviour resident on the inside of us. Can you imagine this? I believe nourishment will occur having the presence of God, His Word and the Holy Spirit abiding in you. Recall the scripture saying, “4 Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. 5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.” Read John 15:4-5 (NLT).
Here we clearly see nourishment, nutrients and life comes from the vine; as long as the branch remains grafted. Therefore, dearly beloved, I encourage you to stay grafted in the Word, as it has the power to sustain, to change, to deliver and to set one free, Hallelujah.
Lord Jesus, thank You for such a wonderful time in Your presence fellowshipping with You and Your Word which gives life. Thank You for supplying me with all of Heaven’s goodness and mercy, and for that, I give You all the praise, glory and honor.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Wonderful insight. Thank you ever so much. Blessings.
