Carefree and Careless – Part 5

Watch this, God does not want us to be disoriented; please believe me; the Bible says, “He will never let me stumble, slip, or fall. For He is always watching, never sleeping.” Read Psalm 121:3-4 (TLB). Can you see this? This is God’s original plan for you, hence He put His Word in place so that you and I can access it at will, helping us to know what to do at every turn in life.

Living a carefree and careless life can also be based on being:

• Planted in the courts of our God.
  • “But the godly shall flourish like palm trees and grow tall as the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted into the Lord’s own garden and are under his personal care.” Read Psalm 92:12-13 (TLB). Watch this beloved, God’s Word is solid, and when your life is anchored to revelation knowledge, it becomes difficult for anxiety to rule your life.
  • The resultant implication is “And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].” Read Philippians 4:7 (NIV).

Listen to this, “An unchurched Christian is a grotesque anomaly. The New Testament knows nothing of such a person. For the church lies at the very centre of the eternal purpose of God. It is not a divine afterthought. It is not an accident of history. On the contrary, the church is God’s new community.” John Stott. Beloved, you must be PLANTED into something, and it better be the GOD. He is the only one who has the ability to carry all your cares.

My Father and my King, thank you for my feet are planted on the solid rock of Your Word. I refuse to be moved, my eyes are on You Oh Lord God Almighty. Thank You, my Father, I flourish and my heart is at rest in Your loving grace, kindness and mercy.
