The Bible says, “The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever.” Read Isaiah 40:8 (TLB). REMEMBER, God’s Word is the only thing that will stand, and it is the only firm foundation your life should be built upon, quite frankly the very essence of our lives should be built on His Rhema (specific or exact word from God to you.
Why do you keep reminding me to REMEMBER the Lord our God? The time is here and now, when the very things we put our trust in will begin to fade away, hence the urgency and importance to “REMEMBER the Lord your God.” REMEMBERING the Lord your God is simply remembering His promises towards you, including all that concerns you.
- REMEMBER, you have been redeemed
- “I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have REDEEMED thee.” Read Isaiah 44:22 (ASV). In this wise, you call yourself what the Lord has called you; “I am the REDEEMED of the Lord.”
- Oh, this is so beautiful, “Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those He redeemed from the hand of the foe.” Read Psalm 107:2. Hey, What story are you to tell? REMEMBERING the story of God’s grace, love and mercy, this is our story to be shared with humanity.
- “Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favour] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].” Read Hebrews 4:16 (AMP). Understanding our position in our REDEEMED state is what gives you and me access to approach God without any guilt shame or condemnation.
As the people of God, the sceptre of God has been extended to you and me, therefore, let us enter freely with boldness, and your Heavenly Father will give ear to your request. Beloved, can you see how blessed you are to have been REDEEMED by the Blood of Christ.? Yes, I see it with the eyes of my heart.
