“The [boundary] lines [of the land] have fallen for me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.” Read Psalm 16:6 (TPT). Watch this, your future is so beautiful and you have a rich inheritance. Listen to how the Lord, Jesus comforted His disciples, “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself so that where I am you may be also.” Read John 14:2-3 (AMP).
Can you see the future Jesus is preparing for you and me? A future where we will never ever be away from Him again. And this is why the hope we have and embrace is “an anchor for our soul.” Watch this, our hope in the future in Christ is not without evidence, because, Jesus Himself said, and if you were ever in any doubt about the kind of future you will have in Christ, then look at what the Bible says, “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Read Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP). Beloved, this is why I said, your future is bright!
Beloved, having an understanding of where and who you are in Christ will cause you to think big and have an expectation of a fulfiled future because God is the God of the whole universe. Listen to what the Bible says, “Your future is bright and filled with a living hope that will never fade away.” Read Proverbs 23:18 (TPT). Watch this, ‘Your future is built on a firm foundation – God’s Love.’
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Read Hebrews 13:8. And if I can change the words to read like this, ‘Jesus is the same in our past, present and future.’ Watch this, “My life, my every moment, my destiny—it’s all in your hands.” Read Psalm 31:15 (TPT). Can you see this? Your life, the entirety of your existence is right in His hands… Oh, Glory to God, Hallelujah.
“Learn to focus only on the present. The past is unchangeable so it is futile to reflect on it unless you are making sure you do not repeat mistakes. The future is but a result of your action today. So learn from the past to do better in the present so that you can succeed in the future.” Jordan Lejuwaan.
Father in Heaven, thank You for I now know and am reminded; “I have a bright future,” because it is in Your hands. Therefore, with great joy, I can look forward to a life filled with purpose, and with what I know about You my Father, I rest and live this present life with assurance and hope that You alone will sustain and keep me till the day of Your coming, in Jesus Name. Amen.
