The private struggle of a godly man – Part 5

I am a Christian First!-4Even in times of trouble, we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us.” Read Romans 5:3-5 (TPT). Ladies and gentlemen, God is after character transformation.

When obstacles and trials seem like prison walls to be. I do the little I can do and leave the rest to Thee.” Frederick W. Faber, “I Worship Thee, Most Gracious God.” In the midst of obstacles and trials, struggles and private pain, we shout, “Great is His Faithfulness.” Dearly beloved, I want to encourage us, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.” Read Exodus 14:13.

Hey, right in the midst of the struggle, you will see the salvation of the Lord. Watch this, every waking moment is a clear indication that God’s covenant is still in force, Hallelujah, glory to God. “The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s.” Read 2 Chronicles 20:15b.

I find sometimes we the people of God try to deal with whatever challenges or private struggles through the realm of the senses. Meanwhile, Jesus says, “For you can do nothing without Me.” Read John 15:5. Therefore, whether one is faced with difficulty, don’t run away from the Church; the Church is our place of refuge and strength.

My Father, you are merciful and your thoughts towards me according to Your word says, “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Read Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP). O, I have a great future and a good heritage. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
