Build according to God’s pattern – Part 6

As I began to meditate and research God’s Word on building according to the pattern, I began to think about the awesomeness, vastness and magnitude of this God. Then I paused and was in deep thought about God’s greatness. Oh, how I love Jesus, He stands in the solitude of His great name. No one can compare to my God. He is God Almighty; mighty in battle, glorious in victory. Glory, glory, glory. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

Going a bit deeper, I began to think out loud, Lord, what qualified me to be a partaker of His glorious Kingdom? And it became clear brothers and sisters as the Scripture reveals, “There’s a fiercely loyal minority still – not many, perhaps, but probably more than you think. They’re holding on, not because of what they think they’re going to get out of it, but because they’re convinced of God’s grace and purpose in choosing them.” Read Romans 11:5-6 (MSG).

Watch this, God’s gracious grace has qualified you and me to be able to build according to the pattern He set for our lives. And when we grasp this truth, we will be humbled because God demonstrated in no unmistakable term that “It is by His grace in which we stand,” Read Romans 5:1-2 (NLT). Not by any human intervention; It is by His grace we can all be partakers of the heavenly calling. With this in mind, please hear my heart when I say, “We are not all that.” It is God who chose us from the foundations of the world calling us into fellowship and partnership with Him to build what He orchestrated in the heavens. This is truly humbling to know the Creator of the heaven and the earth has called us into the building up of other disciples.

Here is my point, “Building according to God’s pattern or design” is purely by “Election of Grace.” Yes, God has given us intelligence, however, our intelligence is not what qualifies us; instead, it is His exceedingly abundant grace. And the Bible says, “Of His fullness have we all received, and grace heaped upon grace. Have you not heard? His grace is gracious.

My Father in heaven, thank You. Your grace qualifies me to stand before You, unashamed undisturbed and unmoved in Christ Name.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
