Trust in the Lord completely – Part 8

Proverbs 3:5 Paul writing to Timothy, “Still, I am not ashamed; for I know Him [and I am personally acquainted with Him] whom I have believed [with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in the truth of His deity], and I am persuaded [beyond any doubt] that He is able to guard that which I have entrusted to Him until that day [when I stand before Him].” Read 2 Timothy 1:12 (AMP). Can you see this? What is the basis for our boasting? Who are we putting our trust in? Like Paul said to Timothy, it’s God.

This is a beautiful quote from someone who posted a comment on the Kolumns platform; “Life circumstances don’t shake them, the world’s economy doesn’t affect them, negative news doesn’t create fear in their hearts. 🙏🙏🙏 I will continue to trust God in every area of my life, by His grace IJN.”

Those who trust in the Lord are sure-footed and rooted in Scripture, they continually flourish, hence the Bible says, “Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” Read Psalm 92:13 (KJV). Watch this, the one who trusts in the Lord knows where their help comes from; they look not to man but God, hence the Bible says, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my helpMy help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Read Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV).

Scripture says, “Listen closely, I have set before you today life and prosperity (good), and death and adversity (evil); in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments (precepts), so that you will live and multiply, and that the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you are entering to possess.” Read Deuteronomy 30:15-16 (AMP). Beloved, it’s a choice we have to make, and God has given you and I a hint.

My Father, thank You. Your word is constantly at work in me, propelling me to trust and in You and Your word. Thank You, for You always reach out in grace and mercy, and for that, I am grateful.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
