As I close out this series, I want you to look at a king whose name is Nebuchadnezzar. The Bible says, “The king said thoughtfully, ‘Is not this the great Babylon which I myself have built as the royal residence and seat of government by the might of my power and for the honour and glory of my majesty?” Read Daniel 4:30 (AMP). Sometimes, we can get complacent in a subtle way and say things like what Nebuchadnezzar said [selah].
Fast forward to Daniel 4: 34 (AMP) “But at the end of the days [that is, at the seven periods of time], I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my understanding and reason returned to me; and I blessed the Most High [God] and I praised and honoured and glorified Him who lives forever.”
Further, Daniel 4:37 (AMP) “Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honour the King of heaven, for all His works are true and faithful and His ways are just, and He is able to humiliate and humble those who walk in [self-centred, self-righteous] pride.”
Beloved, let us raise our eyes and hearts towards heaven, and when we truly do, let praise and worship flow from our hearts towards the only one true God.

Bien-aimés, élevons nos yeux et nos cœurs vers le ciel, et quand nous le faisons vraiment, laissons la louange et l’adoration couler de nos cœurs vers le seul vrai Dieu.
