The more I read into Habakkuk’s prayer, I am amazed at how much more there is for us to learn. Habakkuk starts off by saying, “I have heard all about You.” Read Habakkuk 3:2 (NIV). Beloved, what is your testimony about God? He did not start off with complaining to God, a million times no, instead, he acknowledged God’s power and sovereignty. Listen to this, “I am the Alpha and the Omega [the Beginning and the End],” says the Lord God, “Who is [existing forever] and Who was [continually existing in the past] and Who is to come, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all].” Read Revelations 1:8 (AMP).
Habakkuk continues in prayer as he speaks about God’s righteousness, faithfulness grace and mercy. Habakkuk 3 from verses 3-15 shows the prophet acknowledging God’s ability and power to bring change. This is an amazing place to get to because it shows how totally dependent Habakkuk was on God’s ability to do whatever He has chosen to do.
Verse 16 – 17 is even more interesting, Habakkuk says, “I heard and my [whole inner self] trembled; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness enters into my bones and under me [down to my feet]; I tremble. I will wait quietly for the day of trouble and distress when there shall come up against [my] people him who is about to invade and oppress them.” Read Habakkuk 3:16. Yet again, Habakkuk reveals to us that fear will come but we have an opportunity to “wait patiently” before God without complaining.
Lastly, this is such a beautiful sight to behold, because Habakkuk finally says, in the midst of everything happening and what God will do based on His indictment of sin as it relates to Judah and the Chaldeans; he says, “YET, I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation! [Rom. 8:37.] The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! For the Chief Musician; with my stringed instruments.” Read Habakkuk 3:18-19 (AMPC).
Look at this word, “YET” which means FINALLY, Habakkuk said, “I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD…” Beloved, what conclusion have you arrived at? Are you able to do as Habakkuk did? I encourage you this day, “Finally, be strong in the Lord, relying on His mighty strength.” Read Ephesians 6:10 (ISV). Amen.
Father in heaven, how grateful I am to You. Great is thy faithfulness. In the midst of all the challenges life brings, I have chosen to serve and worship Your Holy Name forevermore. O, glory, hallelujah.

The Questionner – Partie 3a [Français]
Plus je lis dans la prièred’ Habakkuk; Je suis étonné de voir combien il ya plus pour nous d’apprendre. Habakkuk commence par dire: «’ai entendu parler de vous.» Lire Habakkuk 3:2 (NIV). Bien-aimé, quel est votre témoignage sur Dieu? Il n’a pas commencé par se plaindre à Dieu, un million de fois non, au lieu de cela, il a reconnu la puissance et la souveraineté de Dieu. Écoutez ceci, «Je suis l’Alpha et l’Oméga [le Commencement et la Fin]», dit le Seigneur Dieu, « Qui est [existant pour toujours] et Quiétait [toujours existant dans le passé] et Qui està venir, le Tout-Puissant [l’Omnipotent, le Souverain de tous].» Lire Révélations 1:8 (AMP).
Habakkuk continue dans la prière alors qu’il parle de la justice, de la fidélité, delagrâce et de la miséricorde deDieu. Habakkuk 3 des versets 3-15 montre le prophète reconnaissant la capacité et la puissance de Dieu à apporter le changement. C’est un endroit incroyable pour se rendre parce qu’il montre à quel point Habakkuk était totalement dépendant de la capacité de Dieu à faire ce qu’il a choisi de faire.
Le verset 16 – 17 est encore plus intéressant, dit Habakkuk: «J’ai entendu et mon [moi intérieur entier] a tremblé; mes lèvres frémissaient au son. La pourriture entre dans mes os et sous moi [jusqu’à mes pieds]; Je tremble. J’attendrai tranquillement le jour des ennuis et de la détresse où il yaura [mon] peuple qui est sur le point deles envahiret deles opprimer. Lire Habakkuk 3:16. Encore une fois, Habakkuk nous révèle que la peur viendra, mais nous avons l’occasion d’attendre patiemment» devant Dieu sans se plaindre.
Enfin, c’est un si beau spectacle à voir, parce que Habakkuk dit enfin, au milieu de tout ce qui se passe et ce que Dieu fera basé sur son acte d’accusation du péché en ce qui concerne Juda et les Chaldéens; il dit: «ENCORE, je me réjouirai dans le Seigneur; Je vais exulter dans le Dieu [victorieux] de mon salut! [Rom. 8:37.] Le Seigneur Dieu est ma Force, ma bravoure personnelle, et mon armée invincible; Il fait mes pieds comme les pieds des arrières et me fera marcher [non pas pour rester immobile dans la terreur, mais pour marcher] et faire [spirituel] progrès sur mes hauts lieux de [troubles, de souffrance, ou de responsabilité]! Pour le musicien en chef; avec mes instruments à cordes. Lire Habakkuk 03:18-19 (AMPC).
Regardez ce mot, “ENCORE” qui signifie ENFIN, Habakkuk dit, “Je me réjouirai dans le Seigneur… » Bien-aimé, à quelle conclusion êtes-vous arrivé ? Êtes-vous capable de faire comme Habakkuk l’a fait? Je vous encourage aujourd’hui, «Enfin être fort dans le Seigneur, en s’appuyant sur sa force puissante.» Lire Éphésiens 6:10 (ISV). Amen.
