Praying for our children – Part 1a

Our children, your children are the future. And as parents, we should ensure that we leave a legacy, not of wealth or riches, properties or assets [all of which are good], but there is something far more valuable than silver or gold, and that is ‘living a legacy of Christ‘ for our children. Listen to this, “A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.” Read Proverbs 13:22 (AMPC). Listen here, “moral stability and goodness can only come from God’s Word!

Watch this, “In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will.” Read Ephesians 1:11 (AMPC). Can you see this? The inheritance referred to here is linked to God’s plan of Salvation – “His eternal plan which He carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.” Read Ephesians 3:11 (NIV).

PRAYER –

1. “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].” Read Romans 12:2 (AMPC). Therefore, we pray for our children that they will not conform or stoop low to the vices of this world in Christ Name.

2. I also pray that as parents, we will not parent our children based on the ideals of the world, but will follow Biblical principles in Christ Name. I pray that as parents we will not be pressured into submitting to our childrens tantrums, but be firm in our discipline with love in Christ Name.

Dear Father in heaven, I thank You for equipping us as parents with wisdom and understanding to be able to train our children in the ways of the Lord in Christ Name.

Prier pour nos enfants – Partie 1a

Nos enfants, vos enfants sont l’avenir. Et en tant que parents, nous devons nous assurer de laisser un héritage, pas de richesses ou de richesses, de propriétés ou d’actifs [qui sont tous bons], mais il y a quelque chose de beaucoup plus précieux que l’argent ou l’or, et c’est “vivre un héritage du Christ” pour nosenfants. Écoutez ceci: “Un homme bon laisse un  héritage [dés habilité morale et de bonté]aux enfants de ses enfants,et la richesse du pécheur [trouve finalement son chemin] dans les mains des justes, pour qui il a été mis en place.” Lire Proverbes 13:22 (AMPC). Écoutez ici, “la stabilité morale et la bonté ne peut venir que de la Parolede Dieu!

Regardez ceci, “En Lui, nous avons aussi été faits [la] part de Dieuetnous avons obtenu un héritage; car nous avions été pré ordonnés (choisisse nommés à l’avance) conformément à  son but, qui travaille tout en  accord avec l’avocat  et la conception de sa volonté [ propre]. Lire Éphésiens 1:11 (AMPC). Tu vois ça? L’héritage mentionné ici est lié au plan du Salut de Dieu – “Son plan éternel qu’il a réalisé par Le Christ Jésus notre Seigneur.” Lire Éphésiens 3:11 (NIV).

PRIÈRE– 

1. “Ne vous conformez pas à ce monde (de cet âge), [façonné après et adapté à ses coutumes extérieures et superficielles], mais soyez transformés (modifiés) par le renouvellement [entier] de votre esprit [par ses nouveaux idéaux et sa nouvelle attitude], afin que vous puissiez prouver [pour vous], quelle est la bonne, acceptable et parfaite volonté de Dieu, même la chose qui est bonne et acceptable etparfaite [à sa vue pour vous].” Lire Romains 12:2 (AMPC). Par conséquent, nous prions pour nos enfants pour qu’ils ne se conforment pas ou ne se penchent pas bas aux vices de ce monde dans le Christ Nom.
2. Je prie aussi pour qu’en tant que parents, nous n’arent pas nos enfants sur la base des idéaux du monde, mais suivrons les principes bibliques dans le Nom du Christ. Je prie pour qu’en tant que parents, nous ne soyons pas poussés à nous soumettre aux crises de nos enfants, mais que nous soyons fermes dans notre discipline avec amour dans le Nom du Christ.

Cher Père céleste, je vous remercie de nous avoir dotés de sagesse en tant que parents pour pouvoir former nos enfants aux manières du Seigneur au Nom du Christ.
