John the Baptists message was not only strong but also warning people [all classes] of impending judgement, hence, “Even now the ax of God’s judgement is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire.” Read Matthew 3:10 (NIV). Beloved, are you a fruit bearer; colourful and shiny on the outside, but rotten on the inside? John’s message was simple, yet, powerful and instructive; and that same message is given to you and me who profess Christ – preaching against sin and repentance. And the Bible admonishes “Speaking the truth in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16
FRUIT OF TRUE REPENTANCE – EXAMINE TEST AND EVALUATE YOURSELF
“Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it.” Read 2 corinthians 13:5 (AMP). As individuals, we place emphasis on body and weight checkups etc, and in like manner, Paul encourages spiritual checkup’s. Watch this, when we examine ourselves regularly using God’s word, it exposes areas in one’s life pointing out where one needs to pay attention.
Listen to this, “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].” Read Romans 12:2 (AMPC).
My Father in heaven, I delight in Your word. I am cleansed, washed, purified and transformed by the truth contained therein.

Jean-Baptiste message était non seulement forte, mais aussi avertir les gens [toutes les classes] de jugement imminent, par conséquent, “Même maintenant la hache du jugement de Dieu est prêt, prêt à couper les racines des arbres. Oui, chaque arbre qui ne produit pas de bons fruits sera abattu et jeté dans le feu.” Lire Matthieu 3:10 (NIV). Bien-aimé, êtes-vous un porteur de fruits; coloré et brillant à l’extérieur, mais pourri à l’intérieur? Le message de Jean était simple, mais, puissant et instructif; et ce même message est donné à vous et à moi qui professons le Christ – prêchant contre le péché et le repentir. Et la Bible avertit “Dire la vérité dans l’amour.” Éphésiens 4:15-16
FRUIT D’UN VRAI REPENTIR– EXAMINEZ LE TESTET ÉVALUEZ-VOUS
“Examinez, testez et évaluez-vous pour voir si vous tenez à votre foi et en montrant les fruits appropriés de celui-ci.” Lire 2 Corinthiens 13:5 (AMP). En tant qu’individus, nous mettons l’accent sur les examens du corps et du poids, etc, et de la même manière, Paul encourage les contrôles spirituels. Regardez cela, lorsque nous nous examinons régulièrement en utilisant la parole de Dieu, il expose les zones dans sa vie en soulignant où l’on a besoin de prêter attention.
Écoutez ceci, “Ne vous conformez pas à ce monde (de cet âge), [façonné après et adapté à ses coutumes extérieures et superficielles], mais soyez transformé (changé) par le renouvellement [entier] de votre esprit [par ses nouveaux idéaux et sa nouvelle attitude], afin que vous puissiez prouver [pour vous-mêmes] quelle est la bonne et acceptable et la volonté parfaite de Dieu, même la chose qui est bonne et acceptable et parfaite [en sa vue pour vous].” Lire Romains 12:2 (AMPC).
Mon Père céleste, je me réjouis de Ta parole. Je suis purifié, lavé, purifié et transformé par la vérité qui y est contenue.
