For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the administration of God’s grace which was given to me for you; that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before briefly. By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to mankind, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.
Ephesians 3:1-8 (NASB)
I like how Paul writes this letter; “Administration of God’s grace” extended to him that by “Revelation” he was now understood the “Mystery” [the counsels of God, once hidden but now revealed in the Gospel]. The question in our minds then becomes, what is this mystery? Watch this, verse 6 helps answer the question asked – “to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.” Read Ephesians 3:6 (NASB).
In other words, the mystery is the equality of the Jews and Gentiles in the riches inherited by God’s children. Going even further, Paul was making it clear to the Gentiles that their salvation was independent of any human law, hence, “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” Read John 4:22 (KJV). I will encourage you to study the history of the Gentiles and how they were viewed as outcasts, dogs not worthy to be partakers of the Gospel the Jews so held highly through human dogma. But, thanks be unto God who has “broken down every wall of partition.” Read Ephesians 2:14 (NASB).
Paul further writes to the Ephesians that God made him a steward [according to the gift of God’s grace]. Question, what was Paul a steward of? Verse 8 helps us, “Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.” Clearly we see Paul was making the point about the Greatness of God’s Grace upon his life and ministry. Again, as an assignment for your spiritual development, study a bit about Paul and his persecution of God’s people before his conversion. Beloved, if anyone understood Grace, it will have to be Paul.
Furthermore, as Bible students, we want to know what these riches inherited by God’s children means? Ephesians 2:14-16 (NASB) lists a few, “For Christ Himself brought us peace,” “Unity of the Jews and Gentiles,” “Broken down every wall of hostility.” You will also notice, “We are made alive in Christ,” “God has shown us mercy and given us salvation,” We are “God’s children,” “Free and seated with Christ,” and “Raised up with Christ to glory.” Glory! Glory!! Glory!!! Beloved, the unsearchable inexhaustible riches in Christ are immeasurable; nothing and absolutely nothing compares to what God has in store for those who believe in Him.
My Father, I thank You for the gift of Your grace and mercy. I thank You for I am one with You because of the Blood of Christ, and I am eternally grateful.

Éphésiens: le mystère de Dieu révélé – Partie 3
Pour cette raison, moi, Paul, prisonnier du Christ Jésus pour vous, Gentils, si vous avez entendu parler de l’administration de la grâce de Dieu qui m’a été donnée pour vous; que par révélation il a été fait connaître pour moi le mystère ,comme je l’ai écrit avant brièvement. En vous référant à cela, quand vous lisez, vous pouvez comprendre mon perspicacité dans le mystère du Christ, qui dans d’autres générations n’a pas été fait connaître à l’humanité, comme il a maintenant été révélé à ses saints apôtres et prophètes dans l’Esprit; pour être précis, que les Gentils sont d’autres héritiers et autres membres du corps, et d’autres participants de la promesse en Jésus-Christ à travers l’Évangile, dont j’ai été fait ministre, selon le don de la grâce de Dieu qui m’a été donné selon le travail deSa puissance.

J’aime la façon dont Paul écrit cette lettre; “Administration de la grâce de Dieu” lui étendit que par “Révélation“, il était maintenant compris le “Mystère” [les conseils de Dieu, autrefois cachés mais maintenant révélés dans l’Évangile]. La question dans nos esprits devient alors, quel est ce mystère? Regardez cela, verset 6 aide à répondre à la question posée – “pour être précis, que les Gentils sont d’autres héritiers et autres membres du corps, et les autres participants de la promesse en Jésus-Christ à travers l’Évangile.” Lire Ephésiens 3:6 (NASB).
En d’autres termes, le mystère est l’égalité des Juifs et des Gentils dans les richesses héritées par les enfants de Dieu. Allant encore plus loin, Paul faisait comprendre aux Gentils que leur salut était indépendant de toute loi humaine, d’où: “Vous ne savez pas quoi: nous savons ce que nous adorons: car le salut est des Juifs.” Lire Jean 4:22 (KJV). Je vous encouragerai à étudier l’histoire des Gentils et la façon dont ils étaient considérés comme des parias, des chiens qui ne méritaient pas d’être des membres de l’Évangile que les Juifs détenaient tant à travers le dogme humain. Mais merci, soyez à Dieu qui a “brisé tous les murs de partition“. Lire Ephésiens 2:14 (NASB).
Paul écrit en outre aux Éphésiens que Dieu a fait de lui un intendant [selon le don de la grâce de Dieu]. Question, de quoi Paul était-il intendant ? Le verset 8 nous aide, «dont j’ai été fait ministre, selon le don de la grâce de Dieu qui m’a été donné selon le fonctionnement de Sa puissance.made a minister” De toute évidence, nous voyons que Paul faisait le point sur la Grandeur de la Grâce de Dieu sur sa vie et son ministère. Encore une fois, comme une mission pour votre développement spirituel, étudier un peu sur Paul et sa persécution du peuple de Dieu avant sa conversion. Bien-aimé, si quelqu’un comprenait Grace, ce devrait être Paul.
En outre, en tant qu’étudiants de la Bible, nous voulons savoir ce que signifient ces richesses héritées par les enfants de Dieu ? Éphésiens 2:14-16 (NASB) énumère quelques-uns, “Car le Christ lui-même nous a apporté la paix”, “Unité des Juifs et des Gentils” , “Briser tous les murs de l’hostilité.” Vous remarquerez aussi: “Nous sommes rendus vivants en Christ”, “Dieu nous a montré la miséricorde et nous a donné le salut”, Nous sommes “les enfants de Dieu”, “Libres et assis avec le Christ”, et “Élevés avec le Christ à la gloire”. Gloire! Gloire!! Gloire!!! Bien-aimées, les richesses inépuisables inépuisables du Christ sont incommensurables; rien et absolument rien ne se compare à ce que Dieu a en réserve pour ceux qui croient en Lui.
Mon Père, je vous remercie pour le don de Votre grâce et de votre miséricorde. Je vous remercie d’être un avec Vous à cause du Sang du Christ, et je vous en suis éternellement reconnaissant.
