(Now this expression, “He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.) And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:9-14 (NASB).
I love what the Apostle Paul said, “The gifts [As Apostles, As Prophets, As Evangelists, As Pastors and Teachers] are grace-driven administered by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, no one person has the audacity to boast in whatever area of ministry the grace gift has placed them in. And having this mindset, it becomes easy to be “Servant of all.” If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” Read Mark 9:35 (NASB). In other words, the duty of any minister or believer in any capacity is to serve God’s people. It will be an afront to God and the Body of Christ if you do not embrace and utilise what you have been given, because you will be depriving the household of God from benefiting what God has blessed you with.
Listen to this, “But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good…” “But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.” Read 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (NASB). The Scripture helps you and I understand that these gifts were for a specific reason:
1. “For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry”
2. “For the building up of the body of Christ.”
“Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Using your gifts in the household of God is not a one time event, rather, it is a life-long exercise where we are constantly ministering out from the overflow of our spirit to whomsoever we may come in contact with. Watch this, ministering out from the overflow of your spirit will mean that you have to be constantly be nourished to the maximum level. Else, ministering out of an empty spirit can eventually lead one to a place of despair and emptiness, and that will be a dangerous place to be. Listen here, “The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.” Read Luke 6:45 (NASB).
By virtue of the gifts God has given each and everyone of us; there is a huge responsibility to “Go and make disciples of all nations , baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Read Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV). And it does not just end with baptizing and teaching, you can also include nurturing, preaching, giving and much more.
My Father in heaven, thank You because we have received of Your fullness in Christ and because of that we lack nothing in Christ.

J’aime ce que l’Apôtre Paul a dit: “Les dons [en tant qu’apôtres, en tant que prophètes, en tant qu’évangélistes, en tant que pasteurs et enseignants] sont dirigés par lagrâce administrée par l’Esprit Saint. Par conséquent, personne n’a l’audace de se vanter dans n’importe quel domaine du ministère le don de grâce les a placés dans. Et ayant cet état d’esprit, il devient facile d’être “serviteur de tous.” Si quel qu’un veut être le premier, il sera le dernier de tous et le serviteur de tous. Lire Marc 9:35 (NASB). En d’autres termes, le devoir de tout ministre ou croyant en toute capacité est de servir le peuple de Dieu. Ce sera un front pour Dieu et le Corps du Christ si vous n’embrassez pas et n’utilisez pas ce qui vous a été donné, parce que vous priverez la maison de Dieu de bénéficier de ce que Dieu vous a béni.
Écoutez ceci, “Mais à chacun est donné la manifestation de l’Esprit pour le bien commun…” “Mais un seul et même Esprit fonctionne toutes ces choses, en distribuant à chacun individuellement comme il le veut.” Lire 1 Corinthiens 12:7-11 (NASB). L’Écriture vous aide et je comprends que ces dons étaient pour une raison spécifique:
1. “Pour l’équipement des saints pour le travail du ministère.”
2. “Pour la construction du corps du Christ.”
“Jusqu’à ce que nous atteignions tous àl’unité de la foi , et de la connaissance du Fils de Dieu, à un homme mûr, à la mesure de la stature qui appartient à la plénitude du Until Christ.” Utiliser vos dons dans la maison de Dieu n’est pas un événement unique, c’est plutôt un exercice de toute une vie où nous nous présageons constamment du débordement de notre esprit avec qui nous pouvons entrer en contact. Regardez cela, le ministre hors du débordement de votre esprit signifie que vous devez être constamment nourri au niveau maximum. Sinon, le ministre d’un esprit vide peut éventuellement conduire à un lieu de désespoir et de vide, et ce sera un endroit dangereux pour être. Écoutez ici: “Le bon homme du bon trésor de son cœur fait ressortir ce qui est bon; et l’homme mauvais du trésor maléfique fait naître ce qui est mal; car sa bouche parle de ce qui remplit son cœur.” Lire Luc 6:45 (NASB).
En vertu des dons que Dieu a donnés à chacun d’entre nous; il y a une énorme responsabilité d’aller faire des disciples de toutes les nations, de les baptiser au nom duPère et du Fils et de l’Esprit Saint, et de leur apprendre à obéir à tout ce que je vous ai commandé. Et sûrement, je suis toujours avec vous, jus qu’à la toute fin de l’âge. Lire Matthieu 28:19-20 (NIV). Et il ne se termine pas seulement par le baptême et l’enseignement, vous pouvez également inclure nourrir, prêcher, donner et bien plus encore.
Mon Père céleste, merci parce que nous avons reçu de Votre plénitude en Christ et à cause de cela nous ne manquons de rien en Christ.
