Rather giving of thanks. For this you know with certainty, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, which amounts to an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Ephesians 5:4b-5 (NASB).
The Apostle Paul alluded to the truth that instead of being found wanting in the list of sexual immorality; giving of thanks and being a people of gratitude was very important. Scripture says, “In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Can you see this beloved? Gratitude is a way to demonstrate that we are living in the light. Listen to this, “Always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our God and Father.” Read Ephesians 5:20 (NASB). “Always give thanks“, therefore, I thank my Father in heaven for my wife [the wife of my youth] who loves God passionately and is a wonderful person. I thank the Lord for my children, whose desire is to serve the Lord, and so on and so forth. Beloved, why don’t you pause and express gratitude to God in your own way for all the things He has done for you. Scripture reminds us, “He alone deserves all our praises.”
As Christmas and New Year approaches, this will be a perfect time to express your gratitude to God for all He has done for you. Think with me for a moment beloved, you did not have the capacity to sustain yourself and family if it were not for the almighty God. Listen here, “They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, and for His wonders to the sons of mankind! For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and He has filled the hungry soul with what is good.” Read Psalm 107:8-9 (NASB).
My Father in heaven, thank You for the birth, death, burial and resurrection of Christ. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” Read Galatians 2:20.

Plutôt en donnant des remerciements. Pour cela, vous savez avec certitude, qu’aucune personne sexuellement immorale, impure ou avide, ce qui équivaut à un idolâtre, n’a d’héritage dans le royaume du Christ et de Dieu.

La gratitude est une façon de démontrer que nous vivons dans la lumière. Écoutez ceci: “Toujours rendre grâce pour toutes choses au nom de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ à notre Dieu et notre Père”. Lire Ephésiens 05:20 (NASB). “Toujours rendre grâce” ,donc, je remercie mon Père céleste pour ma femme [la femme de ma jeunesse] qui aime Dieu avec passion et est une personne merveilleuse. Je remercie le Seigneur pour mes enfants, dont le désir est de servir le Seigneur, et ainsi de suite. Bien-aimé, pourquoi ne pas faire une pause et exprimer votre gratitude à Dieu à votre façon pour toutes les choses qu’il a faites pour vous. L’Écriture nous rappelle: “Lui seul mérite toutes nos louanges“.
À l’approche de Noël et du Nouvel An, ce sera le moment idéal pour exprimer votre gratitude à Dieu pour tout ce qu’Il a fait pour vous. Pensez avec moi un instant aimé, vous n’aviez pas la capacité de subvenir à vos besoins et à ceux de votre famille sans le Dieu tout-puissant. Écoutez ici: “Ils remercieront le Seigneur pour sa miséricorde, et pour ses merveilles aux fils de l’humanité! Car Il a satisfait l’âme assoiffée, et Il a rempli l’âme affamée de ce qui est bon.” Lire Psaume 107:8-9 (NASB).
Mon Père céleste, merci pour la naissance, la mort, l’enterrement et la résurrection du Christ. “Je suis crucifié avec le Christ: né an moins, je vis; mais pas moi, mais le Christ vit en moi: et la vie que je vis maintenant dans la chair que je vis par la foi du Fils de Dieu, qui m’a aimé, et s’est donné pour moi.” Lire Galates 2:20.
