A question which keeps being asked by so many followers of Christ is why are their prayers not being answered? And I suppose the question in return is; when you pray, are you praying the will of the Father or your own will? And here lies the crux of the matter. Watch this beloved, Matthew chapter 6 gives you and me a clear indication on whose will we should be seeking in prayer. Scripture says, “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Read Matthew 6:10 (KJV). Listen to this, “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.” Read Isaiah 59:2 (ESV).
I believe one of the reasons prayers are not answered is because our prayers are not consistent with His Word and in many ways contradicts His righteous nature. Think with me for a moment, as a parent, I will not dare to give my children something which I know will harm them. In like manner, God our Heavenly Father will not sanction no matter the circumstance anything which He knows will harm His beloved children. Watch this, it is an act of His goodness and mercy for that prayer not to be answered.
Listen to this, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, so that you may spend what you request on your pleasures.” Read James 4:3 (NASB). One’s motive in prayer is critically important because it will determine the capacity to which you can endure. Listen here, if your intent is right, then no matter how long it takes for the answer to come, waiting won’t be so much of an issue. Galatians 6:9 (AMP) reads, “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”
There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, in the end, “Thy will be done.” All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.

Sans cet auto-choix, il ne pourrait pas y avoir d’enfer. Aucune âme qui désire sérieusement et constamment la joie ne la manquera jamais. Ceux qui cherchent à trouver. Ceux qui le frappent sont ouverts.
Je crois que l’une des raisons pour lesquelles les prières ne sont pas exaucées est que nos prières ne sont pas compatibles avec Sa Parole et contredit à bien des égards Sa nature juste. Réfléchissez un instant avec moi, en tant que parent, je n’oserai pas donner à mes enfants quelque chose qui, je le sais, leur fera du mal. De la même manière, Dieu notre Père céleste ne sanctionnera pas, quelles que soient les circonstances, tout ce qu’Il sait nuira à ses enfants bien-aimés. Regardez cela, c’est un acte de Sa bonté et de sa miséricorde pour que cette prière ne soit pas exaucée.
Écoutez ceci, “Vous demandez et ne recevez pas, parce que vous demandez avec les mauvais motifs, de sorte que vous pouvez dépenser ce que vous demandez sur vos plaisirs.” Lire James 4:3 (NASB). Son motif dans la prière est d’une importance cruciale parce qu’il déterminera la capacité à laquelle vous pouvez endurer. Écoutez ici, si votre intention est juste, alors peu importe combien de temps il faut pour la réponse à venir, l’attente ne sera pas tellement un problème. Galates 6:9 (AMP) lit: “Et ne perdons pas courage et de devenir fatigué et faible en agissant froidement et en faisant bien, car en temps voulu et à la saison prévue, nous récolterons, si nous ne desserrons pas et relâcher notre courage et s’évanouir.”
