Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

The true follower of Christ will not ask, “If I embrace this truth, what will it cost me?” Rather he will say, “This is truth. God help me to walk in it, let come what may!” Aiden Wilson Tozer. In other words, don’t seat on the fence, instead, stand up for truth no matter the cost.
Beloved, the Christian life is not an easy life, a million times not. Watch this, God did not ask us to live our lives independent of His power, hence, “For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.” Read Philippians 2:13 (AMP).
I can’t recall a time seeing the nations across the globe in tumult and chaos all at the same time. And I can only attribute this to one thing, “But your wickedness has separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.” Read Isaiah 59:2 (AMP). Listen to this, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Read Matthew 6:24 (KJV). Nations have decided to serve not God, but mammon [material wealth or possessions especially as having a debasing influence]. Watch this, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” Read Romans 1:18 (NASB).
Beloved, we have been called to Holy living, hence. Peter writes, “So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” Read 1 Peter 1:13-16 (NKJV). In other words, all parts of our lives and character should be in the process of becoming conformed, both inwardly and outwardly, to God’s standards.
My Father, this is my prayer to You, “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Read Galatians 2:20 (NASB).

Regardez ceci, Dieu ne nous a pas demandé de vivre notre vie indépendamment de Sa puissance, par conséquent, “Car ce n’est pas votre force, mais c’est Dieu qui est effectivement à l’œuvre en vous, à la fois pour vouloir et pour travailler [c’est-à-dire renforcer, dynamiser et créer en vous le désir et la capacité d’accomplir votre but] pour Son bon plaisir.” Lire Philippiens 2:13 (AMP).
Je ne me souviens pas d’avoir vu les nations du monde entier dans le tumulte et le chaos en même temps. Et je ne peux attribuer cela qu’à une chose: “Mais ta méchanceté t’a séparé de ton Dieu, et tes péchés t’ont caché Son visage pour qu’Il n’entende pas.” Lire Ésaïe 59:2 (AMP). Écoutez ceci: “Aucun homme ne peut servir deux maîtres: car soit il haïra l’un et aimera l’autre; sinon il s’accrochera à l’un et méprisera l’autre. Vous ne pouvez pas servir Dieu et mammon.” Lire Matthieu 6:24 (KJV). Les nations ont décidé de servir non pas Dieu, mais mammon [richesse matérielle ou possessions en particulier comme ayant une influence avilissante]. Regardez ceci: “Car la colère de Dieu est révélée du ciel contre toute impiété et injustice des gens qui suppriment la vérité dans l’injustice.” Lire Romains 1:18 (NASB).
Bien-aimés, nous avons donc été appelés à une vie sainte. Peter écrit: “Alors pensez clairement et faites preuve de maîtrise de soi. Attendez-vous avec impatience au salut gracieux qui viendra à vous lorsque Jésus-Christ sera révélé au monde. Donc, vous devez vivre comme les enfants obéissants de Dieu. Ne retombez pas dans vos anciennes façons de vivre pour satisfaire vos propres désirs. Vous ne saviez pas mieux à l’époque. Mais maintenant, vous devez être saints dans tout ce que vous faites, tout comme Dieu qui vous a choisi est saint. Car les Écritures disent: “Tu dois être saint parce que je suis saint.” Lire 1 Pierre 1:13-16 (LSG). En d’autres termes, toutes les parties de notre vie et de notre caractère devraient être en train de se conformer, à la fois intérieurement et extérieurement, aux normes de Dieu.
Mon Père, telle est ma prière pour Toi: “J’ai été crucifié avec le Christ; et ce n’est plus moi qui vis, mais le Christ vit en moi; et la vie que je vis maintenant dans la chair, je la vis par la foi au Fils de Dieu, qui m’a aimé et s’est livré pour moi.” Lire Galates 2:20 (NASB).
