I’ll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands. You’ll once again live in the land I gave your ancestors. You’ll be my people! I’ll be your God!
Ezekiel 36:25-28 (MSG).
“If loving God with all our heart and soul and might is the greatest commandment, then it follows that not loving Him that way is the greatest sin.” R. A. Torrey. Listen to this, “And He answering said, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.” Read Luke 10:27 (KJV). Beloved, there is nothing left of you and me if we embrace these words of Christ, is it not? It is like stripping oneself of every dignity and embracing the dignity that comes from Christ.
How does a change of heart happen? The Bible helps us answer this question, “I will.” In our theme text, God pledged the following: 1). Cleansing from sin, 2). A new heart, 3). A new spirit, 4). The Holy Spirit as an enabler makes it possible for you and me to live and follow His commands. Remember David’s heart cry “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right and steadfast spirit within me.” Read Psalm 51:10 (AMP). Beloved, this is a prayer for all ages.
One commentary writes the “spirit” indicates the governing power of the mind which directs thought and conduct. Listen to this, “For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants.” Read Isaiah 44:3 (AMP). Watch this beloved, the impact of an outpouring of His Spirit is spiritual refreshment from the Holy Ghost. The impact of spiritual refreshment will extend to the faithful Jews. Hence, “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.” Read Isaiah 59:21 (NASB). Wow! from one generation to another. This promise was for the faithful Jews
Listen here, “But this is the beginning of what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: “It shall come about after this, that I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Read Joel 2:28-29. Such an amazing grace from our Father in heaven! Recall the biblical text, “Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life]?” Read Romans 2:3-5 (AMP). In other words, God’s kindness, and abundance of grace, towards the children of Israel will eventually lead to true repentance and conversion.
My Father in heaven, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14 (KJV). This is my prayer to You my Lord and Saviour!

Je vais enlever le cœur de pierre de votre corps et le remplacer par un cœur qui est voulu par Dieu, pas volontaire. Je mettrai mon Esprit en vous et vous permettrai de faire ce que je vous dis et de vivre selon mes commandements. Vous vivrez à nouveau dans la terre que j’ai donnée à vos ancêtres. Tu seras mon peuple! Je serai ton Dieu !

Torrey. Écoutez ceci: “Et il répondit: Tu aimeras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, de tout ton cœur, de toute ton âme, de toute ta force et de tout ton esprit ; et ton prochain comme toi-même. Lire Luc 10:27 (KJV). Bien-aimés, il ne nous reste plus rien de vous et de moi si nous embrassons ces paroles du Christ, n’est-ce pas ? C’est comme se dépouiller de toute dignité et embrasser la dignité qui vient du Christ.
Comment un changement de cœur se produit-il? La Bible nous aide à répondre à cette question: “Je le ferai. Dans notre texte thématique, Dieu a promis ce qui suit: 1). Purification du péché, 2). Un cœur nouveau, 3). Un esprit nouveau, 4). Le Saint-Esprit comme facilitateur nous permet, à vous et à moi, de vivre et de suivre Ses commandements. Souvenez-vous du cri du cœur de David: “Crée en moi un cœur pur, ô Dieu, et renouvelle en moi un esprit juste et inébranlable.” Lire Psaume 51:10 (AMP). Bien-aimés, c’est une prière pour tous les âges.
Un commentaire écrit que “l’esprit” indique le pouvoir de gouvernance de l’esprit qui dirige la pensée et la conduite. Écoutez ceci: “Car je verserai de l’eau sur celui qui a soif, et je coule sur le sol sec. Je répandrai Mon Esprit sur votre progéniture et Ma bénédiction sur vos descendants.” Lire Ésaïe 44:3 (AMP). Regardez ce bien-aimé, l’impact d’une effusion de son Esprit est un rafraîchissement spirituel du Saint-Esprit. L’impact du rafraîchissement spirituel s’étendra aux Juifs fidèles. Par conséquent, “Quant à Moi, c’est Mon alliance avec eux,” dit le Seigneur: “Mon Esprit qui est sur vous, et Mes paroles que J’ai mises dans votre bouche ne s’écarteront pas de votre bouche, ni de la bouche de votre progéniture, ni de la bouche de la progéniture de votre progéniture.,” dit le Seigneur, “à partir de maintenant et pour toujours.” Lire Ésaïe 59:21 (NASB). Pleurage! d’une génération à l’autre. Cette promesse était pour les Juifs fidèles.
Écoutez ici: “Mais c’est le début de ce dont a parlé le prophète Joël: “Il viendra après cela, que Je répandrai Mon Esprit sur toute l’humanité; et vos fils et vos filles prophétiseront, vos vieillards rêveront des rêves, vos jeunes gens verront des visions. Même sur les serviteurs masculins et féminins, Je répandrai Mon Esprit en ces jours-là.” Lire Joël 2:28-29. Une grâce si étonnante de notre Père céleste! Rappelez-vous le texte biblique: “Ou n’avez-vous aucun égard pour la richesse de sa bonté, de sa tolérance et de sa patience [en retenant sa colère]? Êtes-vous [réellement] inconscient ou ignorant [du fait] que la bonté de Dieu vous conduit au repentir [c’est-à-dire à changer votre moi intérieur, votre ancienne façon de penser – cherchez Son but pour votre vie ]?” Lire Romains 2:3-5 (AMP). En d’autres termes, la bonté de Dieu et l’abondance de la grâce envers les enfants d’Israël finiront par conduire à un véritable repentir et à la conversion.
Mon Père céleste: “Que les paroles de ma bouche et la méditation de mon cœur soient acceptables à tes yeux, ô Seigneur, ma force et mon rédempteur.” Psaume 19:14 (KJV). C’est ma prière à Toi mon Seigneur et Sauveur!
