I will give her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor as a door of Hope; she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.

The land of Egypt as we know it from Biblical history was a place of captivity for the children of Israel. And right in that place of bondage, God says, “Therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the labors of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.” Read Exodus 6:6 (NASB).
Watch this, are you aware, HOPE has a way of keeping one alive? Why do I say this? Let us investigate the story of Joshua and Caleb; the promise was given when Caleb was forty (40), and at eighty-five (85) years, he came to Moses and said, “Now look at me: God has kept me alive, as He promised. It is now forty-five (45) years since God spoke this word to Moses, years in which Israel wandered in the wilderness. And here I am today, eighty-five years (85) old!” I’m as strong as I was the day Moses sent me out. I’m as strong as ever in battle, whether coming or going. So give me this hill country that God promised me. You yourself heard the report, that the Anakim were there with their great fortress cities. If God goes with me, I will drive them out, just as God said.” Read Joshua 14:10-12.
Can you see this? Caleb HOPED for forty-five years for the promises of God, and that sustained him, because the Bible says, “God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?” Read Numbers 23:19 (ESV). God is a Covenant keeper, therefore, “Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country; yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed, I will also do it.” Read Isaiah 46:11 (ESV). Brethren, this is why we can have can have HOPE!
Let us look at the story of one of the Patriarch’s Abram. And behold, “the word of the Lord came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.” And He brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then He said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.” Read Genesis 15:4-6 (ESV).
Fast forward to Genesis 18:19, God said, “Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My Covenant with him for an everlasting Covenant, and his descendants after him.” The Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did to Sarah as He had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac.” Read Genesis 21:1-4(ESV).
“Do you want to go away as well?” Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” Read John 6:67 (ESV). Heavenly Father, I have no where else to go. You alone are my Gateway of Hope!

Regardez ceci, savez-vous que HOPE a un moyen d’en garder un en vie? Pourquoi est-ce que je dis cela? Étudions l’histoire de Josué et de Caleb; la promesse a été faite quand Caleb avait quarante (40) ans, et à quatre-vingt-cinq (85) ans, il est venu voir Moïse et a dit: “Maintenant, regardez-moi: Dieu m’a gardé en vie, comme Il l’a promis. Cela fait maintenant quarante-cinq (45) ans que Dieu a dit cette parole à Moïse, années au cours desquelles Israël a erré dans le désert. Et me voici aujourd’hui, quatre-vingt-cinq ans (85)!” Je suis aussi forte que je l’étais le jour où Moïse m’a envoyée. Je suis plus fort que jamais au combat, que ce soit en allant ou en venant. Alors donne-moi cette région montagneuse que Dieu m’a promise. Vous avez entendu le rapport, que les Anakim étaient là avec leurs grandes villes forteresses. Si Dieu va avec moi, je les chasserai, comme Dieu l’a dit.” Lisez Josué 14:10-12.
Voyez-vous cela? Caleb a espéré pendant quarante-cinq ans les promesses de Dieu, et cela l’a soutenu, parce que la Bible dit: “Dieu n’est pas homme, qu’Il doit mentir, ou un fils de l’homme, qu’Il doit changer d’avis. A-t-Il dit, et ne le fera-t-Il pas? Ou a-t-Il parlé, et ne l’accomplira-t-Il pas?” Lisez Nombres 23:19 (ESV). Dieu est donc un gardien de l’Alliance: Appelant un oiseau vorace de l’est, l’homme de mon conseil d’un pays lointain; Oui, j’ai parlé, je le ferai aussi passer; J’ai voulu, je le ferai aussi.” Lisez Ésaïe 46:11 (ESV). Mes frères, c’est pourquoi nous pouvons avoir de l’ESPÉRANCE!
Regardons l’histoire de l’un des patriarches Abram. Voici, “la parole du Seigneur lui vint: “Cet homme ne sera pas votre héritier; votre propre fils sera votre héritier. Et Il l’amena dehors et dit: “Regarde vers le ciel, et nombre les étoiles, si tu peux les compter.” Puis Il lui dit: “Ainsi sera ta progéniture.” Et il a cru au Seigneur, et il l’a considéré pour lui comme de la justice.” Lisez Genèse 15:4-6 (ESV).
Avance rapide jusqu’à Genèse 18:19, Dieu a dit: “Sara, ta femme, te donnera un fils, et l’appellera Isaac; J’établirai Mon Alliance avec lui pour une Alliance éternelle, et ses descendants après lui.” Le Seigneur a rendu visite à Sara comme Il l’avait dit et le Seigneur a fait à Sara ce qu’Il avait promis. Et Sara conçut et donna naissance à Abraham un fils dans sa vieillesse au moment où Dieu lui avait parlé. Abraham a appelé le nom de son fils qui lui est né, que Sara lui a porté, Isaac.” Lisez Genèse 21:1-4 (ESV).
