The Psalmist writes, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Read Psalm 119:105 (NASB). When we observe events in history and in this 21st Century, one might become afraid of what one might be hearing and or seeing. It looks to me that darkness is ever increasing and manifesting itself in every sphere of society. We continue to see persecution of Christians, and a decencitization of things the Scriptures condemned as repulsive to God. Hence, we ask this question, why is God allowing these things I just mentioned to thrive? Quite simple, it is because ‘The light of God is not working in them or let me put it this way, ‘The work and manifestation of darkness’ is what is being played out.
