Be CarefulAs I study the life and story about Saul and his leadership and oppression of God’s people, I now fully understand in context why 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NASB) is critically important which says, “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” During Saul’s reign, there was no tranquillity in the land, the people’s lives were challenged because of Saul, and there was no dignity because Saul’s leadership style stripped them of their dignity.  Continue reading “Be careful what you wish for – Part 1f”
