“The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendour, the exact expression of God’s true nature—His mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the Majestic One.” Read Hebrews 1:3 (TPT). This is such an amazing text because here we see the creative power in God’s Word sent to hold together and sustain you and me in this season and a new decade of our lives as we walk and continue on in our fellowship with Him. The word sustain in the Hebrew means to ‘comfort, establish, hold up, refresh self, strengthen and be upholden.’
