“Trust in the Lord completely and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make.” Read Psalm 3:5 (TPT). The heart here denotes the soul, the very centre and seat of physical and spiritual life. In other words, every fibre of your being, every cell in your blood is involved in seeking God’s guidance. I understand it when people say as a Christian, you can’t afford to suspend your brain, and whilst that is prudent, we still need to submit and yield to the Holy Spirit. See what the Bible says, “But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, He will unveil the reality of every truth within you.” Read John 16:13 (TPT).
