Every waking moment; we are faced with the day to day currents of the sea, and how you respond determines the outcome. Society speaks to you, your bank balance speaks to you, your body speaks to you, everything around you speaks; and anything that is speaking is also seeking your attention. Scripture says “Then Jesus said to the tree…” Read Mark 11:14. The tree spoke first, but Jesus responded with a superior word of knowledge. When things begin to speak to you, how do you respond? Do you respond with inferior words of fear or superior words of victory in Christ Jesus?
“The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.” Read Isaiah 50:4 (NIV). Jesus’s words brought life and sustained its hearers. Likewise, your faith filled words will sustain you in the times you need it the most. A well instructed tongue is the one that does not panic and just says anything, oh no, a million times no; it is calculated, precise, truthful and confident that the keeper of the word (God) will bring to pass the very purpose for which it was sent, hence.
In any situation at all, the ability to speak ONLY Gods word comes from deep conviction and a revelation of Gods love for you. When you know, God loves you, and are confident about His love; speaking His word into situations becomes easier as you exercise and develop in your love relationship with your Heavenly Father. Confidence and boldness to speak Gods word will not come through shallow discernment, but will come from a place of fellowship and worship. Watch this, the more you constantly practice to speak Gods only spoken word, the bigger a pillar you become such that you are able to be upheld and stabilized in the face of any opposition. I am sure you are aware of this; things come our way every day to oppose and to challenge our faith in God and His word.
The words you speak defines who and what type of person you are. Your words reveal you to you. Jesus said “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Read John 6:63 (NASB). Jesus’s words defined and determined outcomes. Now we are reminded “…because as He is, so also are we in this world.” Read 1 John 4:17 (NLT). We have the same authority in our words like Jesus had to speak into our day the desires of our hearts. This is what the bible calls “present day truth.” Let your words define and determine your outcome in life.
Please listen to my heart on this matter, our words have been designed such that when we utter faith filled words, the Angels in Heaven hearken (hear and do). The Angels will only respond to spoken words consistent with the scriptures; anything outside the scriptures is access denied, whilst anything consistent with the scriptures is ACCESS GRANTED.
