In my time of meditation, I realised the spoken word of God is my shield and armor. Hear what the book of Ephesians says from the 6th chapter, and the 11th verse “…Put on the full armor of God…” Gods word or the spoken word is your armor. The spoken word is like your permit into accessing the benefits and the promises of God. That is why in the midst of the storms of life, you can speak with the authority and power in the word of God. Look with at Luke 10:19 (KJV) “Behold, I give unto you power (authority and ability)…”. Listen to me, brother, sister, friend, colleague, bishop, pastor, reverend, son, daughter; let us give ourselves continually to speaking only the spoken word (Romans 12:12, Ephesians 1:16, Acts 6:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Colossians 4:2). Investigating these verse of scriptures, I noticed a common thread – CONTINUING!!!. Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for filling our mouths with Your words of faith and truth, thank you Lord Jesus we stand in awe of You, in the place of grace favor and mercy to declare Your word over every waking day in the name of Jesus, Amen. Hallelujah, glory to God.
The spoken word of God comes from a place of fellowship and relationship with God and His word. Scripture tells us, the first thing that was; was Gods word, therefore let the first thing which comes forth from your mouth be the spoken word of God. John 1:1 (AMP) says “In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. The art of speaking only the spoken word is not a formula, it comes from a place of intimacy and from a place of consecration.
Watch this beautiful thought; Gods spoken word is the authentic currency used to transact any dealing between the physical and spiritual entities. I recall going to a particular manufacturers car show room, and after engaging the sales consultant, he went on to give me his card, and I noticed these words “authorized dealer.” Reader, the spoken word of God is the authorized and authentic word ever spoken and released into the human race, and that is why the entire creation recognises and responds. Guess what both the physical and the spiritual worlds created by God responds and yields only to ‘AUTHENTIC SPOKEN WORDS.’
Principles governing the spoken word is not about the spectacular, but about the subtlety and meekness in hearing the word of His power. Let us not weary Him with words of complaining, read Malachi 2:17, but let us glorify Him with words of praise, faith and love trusting that “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Read Philippians 1:6 (ESV). Bringing to completion is when you have received the manifestation of the spoken word, hallelujah, glory to God.
God is so awesome! Oh magnify the Lord with me!! For He is good and His mercies endures forever.!!!
