Wake up to a brand new day: Awaken to Gods Love – Part 3

God-is-Love-logo-2015Let me start by telling you what the Bible says about Gods love for you, “The Lord appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you (YES YOU) with an everlasting love, therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” Read Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP). This same Bible also says, “Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Just as it is written and forever remains written.” Read Romans 8:35 (AMP). Watch this dearly beloved, the response is in the subsequent verse, lets see what it says, “For I am convinced and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 (AMP)

As a first step, you must be fully persuaded about Gods love for you. And it is critically important that you understand Gods love for you; a wrong understanding can lead to   having a wrong relationship with Him. Watch this dear friend, God is covenanted to you by His love. Let me put it another way, God can never ever fall out of love with you, it is His nature to love, He is love, so how can He deny Himself. Oh, this is huge; and I say, “God loves you dearly.” You are the apple of His eyes. His love has drawn you, and set you upon your high place. Hallelujah.  Let us dig a little bit deeper, the Bible says, “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His[One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Read John 3:16 (AMP). Now, what I find interesting is, whilst we were yet sinners and condemned to hell, eternal damnation and suffering, God chose His best gift as His commitment, to die on the cross of Calvary for you and I, hence the Bible says, “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His[One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Romans 5:8 (AMPC)

Brothers and sisters, this is huge; and the thought of it would and should make you want to fall in love with Jesus over and over again. The song comes to mind by Jonathan Butler, “Falling in love with Jesus was the first best thing I ever had…” And for good measure, you have the pleasure of listening to the song. Someone might be asking, HOW do I awaken to Gods love? The Bible tells us with simplicity and clarity, “With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not your own judgment.” Read Proverbs 3:5 (CEV). Your senses will tell you that, with all the things happening to you, God must surely not love you. That is so far from the truth and a flat out lie, therefore, you can’t rely on that kind of humanistic reasoning. God loves you, and I want to encourage you to meditate and keep saying, “God loves me.” Gods love for you is unconditional.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
