It will fit into Place: Hold On – Part 1

World Business teamwork puzzle piecesToday, furniture makers try to simplify the process of assembling flat packed furniture. The likes of Ikea seem to be leaders in this space. I recently spoke with a friend who told me that he purchased  furniture from Ikea and had to read the manual to be able to fit all the parts. I believe this a very important lesson for us in the Body of Christ. Now, the furniture maker inserts in the delivery package instruction manuals detailing exact steps to install the item you purchased, including specific number count of each component to be able to successfully fit your product. Circumventing any of these processes or getting ahead of oneself will eventually lead to a lopsided fit. I like to believe, the Bible is like the manual that gives you specific instructions and principles and patterns to guide you in the course of life. My Bible also tells me, “We are assured and know that God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” Read Romans 8:28 (AMP). And it was because of this verse of scripture, I coined the title, ‘It will fit into place: Hold on.’

The scripture confirms; God is personally assuring you that everything is working out to benefit you. You might not be able to appreciate this saying, but God is a man of His words, hence the Bible says “I won’t break my agreement or go back on my word.” Read Psalm 89:34 (CEV). This a huge deal of a statement, God is saying to you and I right now, irrespective of what you have been through; it will work out to your benefit.Selah (pause and calmly think). I know what you might be thinking, how possible can the things I have gone through be working together for my good? Good question, and my response to you is, “God is love” and the Bible says “The Lord appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” Read Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP). Watch this, God loves you, and you have to accept this as the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God. Because of His love, He has covenanted His word to you from everlasting to everlasting. Dearly beloved, I don’t know what you have been or going through right now; but one thing I am absolutely certain about is God is orchestrating your life such that the experiences of life will ultimately lead you to His plan purpose and pursuits.

The Bible says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV). Notice the Bible did not say ‘For everything,’ but IN EVERYTHING. In other words, Gods will is for you and I to give Him thanks, no matter what the situation looks like. And once we are able to grasp this present truth, we would be able to easily embrace Gods counsel which says, “All things are working together for your good.” God is capable of turning whatever situation in your favor. It is the Fathers pleasure to do you good all the time. Beloved, there is a reason and a purpose for your life, and God has given you His life; Zoe (the God kind of life), in other words, the very essence of God is flowing in you, therefore, it is imperative for you to fit into Gods plan purpose and pursuits.

As an aside, you must have heard the saying, “Square pegs in round holes.”When you are wrongly placed or connected; it practically becomes a challenge to be effective in anything. Why? Because you are not properly fitted or positioned. Wrong positioning can cause a lot of toil and hard labor, but God in His infinite mercy can and will help re-position you for greater effectiveness in the Body of Christ and to your world.

Look out for part 2, as we discuss an interesting verse of scripture as it relates to all things fitted.

We write. You read. Be encouraged
