Have you ever considered who the Good News – Gospel is about? I have always heard the word Good News, but not really looked in depth into who the Good is talking about. Therefore, I hope to enlighten us a little bit through the help of the Holy Spirit. Watch this, the Good News – Gospel is and always would be about Jesus Christ, hence we preach about Him alone.
We don’t preach fear or condemnation, instead, we preach His work of grace, we preach of His goodness, hence the Bible says, “Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life]?.” Read Romans 2:4 (AMP). God is kind and He already demonstrated His kindness to us by sending His only begotten son into the world that we might live through Him.” Read 1 John 4:9 (NIV). In other words, there is no life outside Christ, Selah.
See what the Bible says, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them.?” Read Romans 10:14 (NIV). What I am saying is there is no substitute for preaching the Gospel. You and I have to GO and tell people about Christ. Another Bible verse also says, “So faith comes from hearing, that is hearing the Good News about Christ.” Read Romans 10:17 (NIV).
The Good News of Christ is a wholesome and complete package, hence the Bible says, “Jesus travelled all through Galilee teaching in the Jewish synagogues, everywhere preaching the Good News about the Kingdom of Heaven. And He healed every kind of sickness and disease. 24 The report of His miracles spread far beyond the borders of Galilee so that sick folk were soon coming to be healed from as far away as Syria. And whatever their illness and pain, or if they were possessed by demons, or were insane, or paralyzed—He healed them all.” Read Matthew 4:24-25 (TLB). I don’t know of any other religion that offers you wholeness and the liberty to worship freely.
This four-part series really leads to this exaltation from Jesus, “And He said to them, GO into all the world and PREACH and PUBLISH openly the Good News (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].” Read Mark 16:15 (AMPC).
