The manner and way in which I have been so loved by God leaves me with no other credible option but to yield my life to Him. The Bible says, “Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life]?” Read Romans 2:4 (AMP). When I refer to God’s love in context, I am in no way referring to love amongst friends, nor romantic love neither is it love shared in a family setting, instead, I am referring to an UNCONDITIONAL love between God and humanity, a love He initiated, that is ceaseless, and forever flowing into eternity.
God’s kindness is His everlasting love for you, hence the Bible says, “For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] LOVE OF GOD, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Read Romans 8:38-39 (AMP). Dearly beloved, God has committed Himself to you and me, and that is an act of His unfailing love, it is His commitment to you, as an act of His covenant, Selah!
In this wise, you will agree with me “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His[One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (AMP). Think with me for a moment, you are His precious jewel!
“What marvellous love the Father has extended to us.” Read 1 John 3:1 (MSG). Can you see this? He extended His love, through the sacrifice (birth, death and resurrection of His Son – Jesus). I have been thinking about this scripture, and I am amazed at how this Deity can love me so much so that He was willing to sacrifice His best for me, awesome; I am truly amazed at this lavish outpouring of His love.
Remember this, God goes on to further say, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness, I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” Read Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP). This, my friend, is the basis for my belief. God’s love is a magnet! Are you ready to be magnetized into His loving arm, grace and favor?
