I have had situations in my life where I asked this question, “God, where are you”? The Bible says, “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save.” In other words, right in the midst of the storms of life, God is with you, and remember He says, “Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; He won’t leave you.” Read Deuteronomy 31:6 (MSG).
Listen to this verse of scripture which says, “Jehovah hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.” Read Nahum 1:3 (ASV). This ought to give us confidence that no matter what we go through in this life, God is orchestrating His goodness in the midst. Recall again what the Bible says, “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” Read Romans 8:28 (AMP). Watch this, everything is perfectly being fitted and tailor-made just for you, and sometimes, we might have to shed some weight to be able to fit into our pre-defined measurement.
A couple of weeks ago if I recall correctly, I stumbled on this verse of scripture, “Suddenly the storm stopped and all was calm.” Read Luke 8:24b. And I truly believe there was a message being communicated to my spirit; some sort of assurance I sensed was being re-enforced. I don’t know what storm you are in right now, but one thing is absolutely sure according to God’s Word, suddenly, this storm or turbulence you are facing will pass, and calm would be restored in Jesus Name, this is God’s Word to you today.
Listen to this, if you want to build critical mass in your arms or biceps, then you would have to exert pressure on your arm to be able to lift a heavy weight, that way your biceps will expand to accommodate the pressure you are putting on it, and if you do it long enough, the definition you desire would be evident for all to see.
Storms and turbulence play critical roles in our development, so if you are in one right now, brace yourself to enter into a place of calm and reassurance, the storm will pass and you’ll come out on top.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Like you mentioned, this is an absolutely brilliant read.
Blessings upon blessings for this thoughtful and profound insight.
