Spiritually Healthy – Part 8

spiritually-healthy600As we wrap up on this series, the Lord enlightened my understanding to this truth, ‘Whilst we work hard and to the extent of paying for yearly subscriptions to keep our outward appearance attractive, what is the condition of our heart (where others can’t see?).’ How we are on the inside is far more important to God than what an excellent physical specimen we are. Recall the Bible says, “And he did evil because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord,” referring to Rehoboam. Read 2 Chronicles 12:14 (KJV).

God’s ultimate goal for you and me is to have a healthy spiritual life filled with Godly thoughts, not just healthy bodies, Selah! I truly believe the Lord has deposited this Word in my heart to share with you; your spiritual health would be the differentiator between life and death in times to come. Therefore, I encourage you, there is a door wide open for you, God’s open arms reaching out through this forum to you saying “I have called you for a purpose, I have a plan for your life.” And to all those who already believe in Christ and do His Word, then receive strength on the inner man to continue your walk of faithfulness and lasting commitment as disciples of Christ in Jesus Name.

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? “Come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Mewatch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Read Matthew 11:28 (MSG). Folks, this is the basis of spiritual health; it is fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your Loving grace and favor, Your mercies are new every morning, they are new every day, hence we declare “Great is thy faithfulness.” I am eternally grateful that You have chosen me to be part of Your Kingdom, here on earth and in Heaven. It is indeed an honor, privilege and one of pride to serve in Your house, and I am forever grateful.

In closing, remember, always be hungry and develop an insatiable appetite for the Word of God, staying spiritually healthy. We at Kolumns love you and we thank God for you and for what He alone can and will accomplish in your life.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
