Transformed by the Word is seeing through the eyes of the spirit. What does it mean to see through the eyes of the spirit or the eyes of the heart or the eyes of His Word.? It simply means to embrace and agree with what the Word of God has said at any point in time about any situation or circumstance. Listen to what the Bible says, “So from now on we regard no one from a human point of view [according to worldly standards and values]. Though we have known Christ from a human point of view, now we no longer know Him in this way.” Read 2 Corinthians 5:16 (AMP). Seeing is having a revelation of God’s immeasurable love.
As a Christian, I have come to realize we have an awesome ability to see, to perceive, to have insight, to become acquainted with. God has blessed us with vision, hence the Bible says, “But blessed [spiritually aware, and favored by God] are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.” Read Matthew 13:16 (AMP).
I can’t help but ask this question, What do we see? Recall this same question was asked of Jeremiah by God. Therefore, it is critically important that we not only are able to see but also to see well, hence the Bible says, “God’s Message came to me: “What do you see (perceive or comprehend) Jeremiah?” I said, “A walking stick—that’s all.” And God said, “Good eyes! I’m sticking with you. I’ll make every word I give you come true.” Read Jeremiah 1:11 (MSG).
I believe the same question is being asked of us today, what do you see? A transformed spirit is trained to count it all joy and a conformed spirit is trained to count it all complaining, doom and gloom. These things are right in front of us on a daily basis, and it is my heart’s desire for all men to come to the knowledge of the truth – Word of God.
I strongly believe the ultimate goal of “TRANSFORMATION” is to help you and me fulfil and walk in the purposes of God, and to TRANSFORM our lives into the image and likeness of Christ, this ladies and gentlemen is the essence of our Christianity.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
